Welcome to the Department of Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. We recently enhanced our teleradiology services by partnering with Virtual Radiologic, Corp., a leading national provider of teleradiology services and solutions.

We’re excited about combining the significant academic and clinical knowledge of our highly trained physicians with the deep, feature-rich technology platform Virtual Radiologic provides — allowing us to offer radiology practices unprecedented, easy access to our staff of more than 150 American Board of Radiology-certified physicians.

Our new national teleradiology program is intended to complement and supplement – not compete with – understaffed radiology practices. The focus will be on using MGPO’s sizeable capacity to help improve patient care and provide more predictable schedules for practicing physicians in areas where radiology demand exceeds the capacity of available radiologists.
